Benno (again in the bath--surprise, surprise) with his battle wounds. Actually, those were shots from his 18 month well visit...and funny story too. Christopher had his 4 year old well visit at the same time and was upset to learn he would get a flu shot. I had him go first since I was sure having Benno go first would only upset Christopher more. Christopher screamed "No, no, NOOOO!" as he watched the needle come out and go in, and cried continuously until we left. I was bracing myself for the worst when we sat Benno up on the table for his 2 shots. I was pleasantly surprised though when one shot after the other, Benno just sat there and casually watched the needles go in without even flinching. So not the reaction I was expecting! What a brave little man!

Benno explores our yard blanketed in leaves...we took the opportunity to rake them up before the rain started again (it's been raining every day lately...welcome to Oregon.)
Benno is crazy about the bath--after every meal he does his sign for bath (and he usually needs one too, as evidenced above!)
